jewellery designer

Every now and again, we come across a jewellery designer that makes us sit up and look twice. Sean Leane is one of those designers. Not that Leane is new to the design business – over the last twenty years, he’s racked up an impressive range of awards, including 2009 UK Jewellery designer of the Year and UK Luxury Designer of the Year. Critically acclaimed, clients include Sarah Jessica Parker and Daphne Guiness. Leane has also collaborated on the catwalk with Alexander McQueen, having created an amazing headpiece. It’s easy to see that Leane is at the top of his game at knowing how to create stunning visual masterpieces. Sotherby’s Auctions weren’t wrong when they described his creations as ‘antiques of the future’.

Accolades apart, what really bowled us over was the beauty of Leane’s award-winning Cherry Blossom range. Inspired by Japanese folklore, where white and crimson flowers were deemed as seeds spread by Goddesses from cloud covered Fuji mountains, this elegant collection of oxidised silver and gold in delicate pastel pinks and white captures the essence of the Orient and the beauty of nature.

Baroque is proud to introduce the Cherry Blossom range, which includes something for all tastes. For those who prefer simplicity, there are the single rings entwined with blossom and elegant blossom stud earrings. For those who favour delicacy with an edge, then you check out the cherry blossom hoop pendant and earrings in silver or gold plate. And for those who for something truly striking, one of the boldest pieces from the range is the heavy gold plated Cherry Blossom cuff, complete with the designer’s name engraved on the inside. At Baroque, we’re pretty confident that you’ll be as inspired by this range as we are.
